A New Project – Audible Narration for “The Nazarene” by Jamie Buckingham

I recently started looking at some side projects that could generate income for retirement. Since I have spent most of my life speaking before all types of groups, I thought it might be fun to try Audible narrating. I am happy to announce that I have my first project, “The Nazarene” by Jamie Buckingham. It will be several weeks before the project is complete, but I am excited to have been selected.

October Master Class

We are hosting our October Master Class on the campus of Oklahoma State University this Friday, October 11th, from 12:00n-1:00pm. Our topic this month is “Women in Ministry” with Nyree Brodrick. Nyree serves as the director of the Oklahoma District of the Assemblies of God Women in Ministry Network.

On August 1st we will welcome our third intern class to the Branding Iron Academy.

Our third!

In August 2016, the Academy was a vision in our minds and a dream in our hearts. It was an exercise in faith.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Two years later, we have graduated 9 interns serving on five campuses here in Oklahoma and 1 intern serving with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. We have helped staff one new campus ministry, with two new campuses in the works.

“Faith without works is dead.”

But the vision was never to simply train new missionaries. The dream was never simply to pat them on the back and say, “Good luck”.

The church has been praying for laborers, and Jesus has given us a mandate to go to a world that is lost. There has been, and will always be, one call and one harvest. But someone has to be a part of the teams that go.

We cannot do it all, but we can do our part. So, by midnight, June 30, 2025, we pledge to train, staff, and send 50 missionary teams around the world.

“One call. One Harvest. Fifty Teams.”

Will you dream? Will you pray? Will you give?
